The ground rules for quotes, pickups, payment and paperwork.
Quotes are given on the information you provide about the vehicle — make, model, year, condition and completeness. A quote is valid for 7 days.
If the vehicle differs materially from what was described (for example major parts are missing, or it cannot be accessed by a tow truck), we may revise the quote at pickup. You are free to decline and we will leave the vehicle where it is at no cost to you.
You must be the legal owner of the vehicle, or hold the owner's written authority to sell it. We sight photo identification and proof of ownership at pickup.
We do not purchase vehicles subject to finance, an active security interest, or a stolen-vehicle report. Providing false ownership information may be reported to Police.
Payment is made in cash or by bank transfer before the vehicle is loaded. Amounts range from $200 to $15,000 depending on the vehicle.
No towing, admin or disposal fee is deducted from the agreed amount.
Free towing applies within approximately 100km of Whangarei. Outside that radius we will tell you before booking whether a fee applies.
You are responsible for ensuring safe and legal access to the vehicle. We are not liable for pre-existing damage to driveways, lawns, fences or surfaces where access is constrained, though our drivers take reasonable care.
Please remove all personal items, aftermarket accessories you wish to keep, and licence plates you intend to retain before pickup. We are not responsible for items left in a vehicle once it is collected.
We complete the required NZTA notification when we take possession. From that point the vehicle is our responsibility, not yours.
