- How much can I get for my car in Whangarei?
- Quotes run from $200 for small scrap cars up to $15,000 for late-model, high-demand vehicles. The number depends on make, model, year, weight, completeness and current parts demand. Call 0800 99 55 99 with your rego and we will quote on the spot.
- Do you buy cars that don't run or aren't registered?
- Yes. We buy all makes and models in any condition — non-runners, deregistered, failed WOF, accident damaged, flood damaged, rusted out, missing engines, or sitting on flat tyres. No WOF or registration is needed to sell.
- Is towing really free?
- Yes. Free towing and removal is included anywhere within roughly 100km of Whangarei. The quoted cash amount is what you are paid — nothing is deducted for pickup.
- How fast can you pick up my vehicle?
- Most Whangarei city pickups happen same day when you call before mid-afternoon. Rural Northland and outlying towns are usually next day. We operate 7AM to 7PM Monday to Saturday.
- How do I get paid?
- You are paid at pickup, before the vehicle is loaded — cash in hand or instant bank transfer, your choice. There are no hold-backs and no cheques in the post.
- What paperwork do I need?
- Photo ID and proof you own the vehicle (registration papers, or the rego record in your name). We complete the NZTA change-of-ownership notification for you so the vehicle is no longer your liability.
- Do you buy trucks, vans, utes, 4WDs and machinery?
- Yes — cars, vans, utes, 4WDs, SUVs, light trucks, buses, tractors and small machinery. Heavier items are quoted on weight and salvage value.
- What happens to my old car?
- Fluids, batteries and tyres are drained and handled to NZ environmental standards, reusable parts are recovered, and the shell is baled for steel recycling. Nothing is dumped.
- Can you remove a car from a rental property or driveway?
- Yes, as long as the legal owner authorises the removal. We regularly clear abandoned and unwanted vehicles for landlords, property managers and farms across Northland.
- Do you charge for a quote?
- No. Quotes are free, take about two minutes on the phone, and there is no obligation to sell.
